I’d die from happiness if Mycroft and the Doctor met!
Of course they’ve already met, bb!Mycroft went travelling with the Doctor and one adventure ended up gazing into the time vortex, becoming a conduit of power. He was too dangerous to continue travelling so the Doctor dropped him back home, with a sad promise that they could never again meet, but he ended up leaving him not in his original time, but in the 20th Century. Mycroft grew resentful and the time vortex, feeling this hatred, swirled around him- forming new world paths at his feet. Suddenly Mycroft was the centre of the planet’s course in history. But Mycroft had no control over this power, and over time the chaos built up into sentient forms; a black and white guardian of Mycroft’s Earth, but both chaotic and without purpose. Realising the destruction imminent in Earth’s future Mycroft gave himself up to the vortex so that such chaos could be bridled. But without the eye of harmony to guide this sacrifice all Mycroft managed to do was erase his Universal connection, and with it the all-knowledge of Earth’s chaotic guardians. With what little worldly influence Mycroft still possessed he hunted down the sentient form of the white guardian; a curly-haired human child. Mycroft vowed to raise him as a brother, be his guide in the ways of humanity. The black guardian was never found until fate dragged them all into a great, Earthly game. And true to his promise, the Doctor never returned to help.
